About the role As a Senior Project Manager you will be part of driving the biggest backlog on SAP platform we have yet seen in Novo Nordisk. You will be supporting a program portfolio consisting of projects of complex character, management of multiple vendors, and direct engagement with top/senior management. Additionally, your main responsibilities include: Leading the realization of business cases with global impact, supporting technical innovation on SAP platforms and managing internal and external dependencies Creating road maps for the S/4 program portfolio, integrating new acquisitions, and ensuring benefit realization on the S/4 platform Managing high-risk, complex, and business-critical IT programs/projects, collaborating with global stakeholders and implementing innovative IT solutions Setting direction, motivating and coaching teams, delegating responsibilities, and acting as a role model for the Novo Nordisk Way. Driving business improvements in the entire organization, establishing cross-organizational collaboration, and actively contributing to internal optimization projects Which competencies to bring? To succeed in the role, you have M.Sc. or equivalent plus Completion of Project Management Courses or similar experiences 10+ years of professional experience including minimum 5 years dedicated to project management as a primary job function (80%) Documented and exceptional people management experience Proven track record as an IT project manager for larger IT projects Strong managerial skills, leadership abilities, and adept negotiation capabilities Extensive technical knowledge and experience, particularly within areas such as SAP and pharmaceutical business understanding On a personal note, it's important to be result-oriented and take ownership of tasks. From ECC to S/4, the next generation ERP This position is anchored in the NextGenSAP programme office, where our focus is to drive the NextGenSAP programme and ensure benefits realisations across Novo Nordisk.. The department consist of 14 people, who all leading different parts of the programme, but still have focus on being social and supporting each other.
