We are looking for a Health and Safety Senior Manager to join our Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) core team at Novo Nordisk. The Position As a Health and Safety Senior Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will: • Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local regulations, NN guidelines, and industry standards. • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for health and safety programs across all design activities as well as construction projects, ensuring a proactive and preventative approach to risk management. • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in different locations - Brazil, US, Europe • Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters, including training, coaching, and promoting a culture of safety awareness. • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of health and safety developments and best practices. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in health and safety management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of implementing and managing successful health and safety programs • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to construction projects • Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and emergency response planning • Proficiency in developing and delivering health and safety training programs • Professional certification in health and safety preferred As a person you possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
