This is Keysight – People and Culture - YouTube About the Job: As a Telecommunications Engineer in the Keysight R&D team, you will operate at the forefront of telecommunications technology development. Your role is crucial as Keysight, a leading test and measurement company, is committed to supporting the latest technologies and standards to maintain its industry leadership. Engaging in collaborative EU research projects, you will contribute to the design and development of experimentation facilities, offering test and measurement capabilities for 5G and 6G technologies. This involves developing solutions and methodologies focused on cloud and virtualization technologies About the Team: You will be part of Keysight Technologies, leading efforts in test and measurement solutions for 5G and 6G technologies. The team actively collaborates on EU research projects, working with diverse partners to shape the future of telecommunications technologies. Responsibilities: • Interact with engineers across the cellular stack to define KPIs and design test cases for evaluation. • Develop a broad understanding of cellular technologies and underlying infrastructure. • Focus on performance and conformance testing of networks, employing simulation and emulation approaches. • Create and utilize digital twins of networks and components. • Engage with concepts such as virtualization, network intelligence, O-RAN, and vRAN Basic Qualifications: • Master's degree in telecommunications or network engineering. • 5+ years of experience as a telecommunications engineer in industry or academia. • Practical experience working with 4G and 5G wireless network technologies. Desired Qualifications: • Experience with and knowledge of cellular networks (core and RAN parts). • Knowledge of virtualization infrastructure and concepts. • Experience working with virtualized networking and network functions. • Knowledge of O-RAN and/or vRAN technologies. • Experience with telco testing and test cases, both performance and conformance. • Knowledge of KPI definition and design, with methodologies for evaluation. • Some software development skills are a plus. Other Information: Preferrably candidates from nearby Aalborg or willing to relocate are welcome, but no relocations or visa sponsoring will be provided.
