As a Manager for Program Environment & Sustainability, you will: • Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local regulations, NN guidelines and industry standards. • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for environmental and sustainability programs across all construction projects, ensuring a proactive approach to environmental protection and sustainable practices. • Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to minimize the environmental footprint of construction activities and future operations of our facilities. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, engineering partners and subcontractors to integrate environmental and sustainability requirements into design, project planning and project execution. • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of environmental developments and best practices. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. • Professional certification in environmental management or sustainability (e.g., CEM, LEED AP, ENV SP) is preferred. • Significant experience in environmental and sustainability management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of implementing and managing successful environmental and sustainability programs. • In-depth knowledge of global environmental regulations, codes, and standards applicable to construction projects. • Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing sustainability strategies • Proficiency in developing and delivering environmental and sustainability training programs As a person, you posses strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Moreover, you have demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster a sustainability-focused mindset within an organization About the department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX), a newly established and growing area within Novo Nordisk. FFEX is responsible for designing, planning, and building all major fill & finish expansion projects across Product Supply, Quality & IT.
