The position As our new Associate Manager in Emerging Technologies Market Release QC you will head up one of the 5 analytical teams, that together are responsible for the quality control of tablets produced at site Måløv. Your team consists of approx. 18 employees, both professionals and laboratory technicians. Your key responsibilities will be to: Ensure efficient daily operations in compliance with GMP and corporate standards, whilst optimizing our internal flow. Make sure high performance is met and that the team meets project, quality, and organizational goals. Lead and participate actively in board meetings, process confirmation and structured use of problem-solving tools to locate and eliminate the root cause of an error. Foster a climate of high well-being and innovation within own team and across related organizational departments. Motivate your team towards what is best for both the business and the team, together with your team ensure prioritization and willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities. We are in the middle of re-establishing the department after a functional split into two, and our sole focus is now quality control analysis of tablet products to secure a stable supply to our patients. There are currently two open Associate Manager positions, one for an Assay team and one for the Dissolution team. Also, your Director will be new to the department and area, so this is a key opportunity to become part of a new management team where ways of working and responsibilities will be newly defined. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you have: A Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a people leader, who builds trust, drives engagement and ensures wellbeing in the team. Experience with and understanding of GMP. Preferably experience from QC, but as a minimum you have an understanding for the analytical field preferably from the pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in Danish and English. As a person, you have solid stakeholder management and communication skills, and you are authentic with strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build trust. We expect you to be a people leader by nature with the ability to coach and lead others in a busy environment. You are robust and renowned for your strong interpersonal skills and ability to set challenging goals and challenge status quo. By working in a structured manner with a non-compromised focus on quality and deliverables, you have a can-do mind-set and focus on opportunities rather than limitations and provide the right balance between leadership and management to your team. Lastly, you have a high degree of independence and take initiative to challenge ways of doing things and to drive innovative improvements. About the department Market Release QC consists of around 80 employees across 5 teams all of which are located in Måløv. Our main responsibility is to deliver reliable, analytical results and analytical support for our oral products going out to our patients all over the world.
