The Position As an Associate Manager for Production Engineering - Moulds, you will lead an expanding team of highly skilled professionals, currently comprising a team of engineers, dedicated to bringing new injection moulding tools into our support and establishing together with our development area (DMD) a global network of moulding capacity. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure: Staff motivation and engagement through coaching and sparring. Recruit and onboard team members. Development of skills and training of staff. Setting and implementing technical and strategic direction for the team. Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Timely executing of injection moulding tool commissioning projects. Supporting ramp-up and running production at CMO´s. Effective and data driven problem-solving related to injection moulding tools and processes, with the application of cLEAN principles. In your role as an Associate Manager, you will become part of a department that is in the making. Currently the department is one team consisting of 11 engineers which soon will evolve into 3 to 4 teams including Quality support and 2-3 technical teams. The Team that you will lead is focused on moulding production and expansion. You will oversee and deliver to a large project portfolio and play an active role in many different projects with high technical complexity and involvement with many internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have: A degree in Engineering or similar (mechanical/production). At least 3 years of management experience and/or project management. Previous work experience with injection moulding, ideally obtained within a manufacturing development and/or GMP production of medical devices. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus and so is knowledge of operation of production equipment and validation. As a leader, you are authentic and experienced in creating team commitment and collaborative environments, you navigate both short-term problem-solving and long-term organizational development adeptly. About the Department Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve many more patients in the coming years. To this end, a new Device Manufacturing & Sourcing business unit (DMS II) has recently been created to ensure medical device component manufacturing and pre-assembly capacity for future growth.
