Are you interested in process redesign and optimization in the area between Supply Chain and Finance? Are you looking for a hands-on opportunity to support the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk’s O2C process and be part of deployment across our sales affiliate? If yes, join us as our Intern in the Order to Cash (O2C) specialization as part of the Digital Finance and Architecture team in Novo Nordisk and embrace the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues. The position As our new Intern, you will support our Global Order to Cash organisation to reach the goals of 2024; here among getting the right governance model in place, organisational anchoring, communicating around O2C strategy, driving results for O2C end-to-end benchmark, structuring sustainable solutions e.g., training platform, and implementation of a new Revenue Management system etc. Your responsibilities are included, but not limited to: Supporting O2C project managers with day-to-day project work (MoM, follow-up on actions, ad-hoc tasks,..) Planning around meetings and onsite events; agendas and booking hotels, meetings, locations Preparing PPT presentations, and sales videos for project material Improving communication around the project and strategic solution Driving own workstream with analytical tasks, business case calculations, and scenario reviews,.. Practicalities: Internship period: 5 – 6 months Working hours: 18 to 37 per week (with the flexibility within exam period) Start date: August/September 2024 (The exact date to be discussed) Location: Bagsværd, Denmark Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows Full-time Danish work permit is required Please note that Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams. Qualifications You are a student studying a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field with an interest in Business process design with a global reach. We are looking for a person with a drive to get the day-to-day business processes efficiently while supporting the commercial operation in developing new capabilities and insights for the organisation. To succeed in this role, you have: Strong analytical skills especially in understanding the business design process Excellent communication skills in translating complex solutions into simple way slides/stories Flair for technology, process management, and interdepartmental collaboration Fluency in both written and verbal English Preferably you have: Knowledge/exposure to Order to Cash process in SAP: Order Management, Credit Management, Order Fulfilment, Order Shipping, Customer Invoice, Account Receivable, Payment Collection & Reporting and Data Management Experience in SAP Sales & Distributions or Material Management module as a user Experience with IT projects As a person, you are curious, proactive, energetic, business-minded, and interested in initiating and driving projects that will positively impact our finance infrastructure development. About the department At Novo Nordisk, Order to Cash is defined as all commercial processes from Customer Creation to Cash Collection. We operate across several functional areas to improve the value creation of the entire Order to Cash process to a new level by improving standardisation and system utilization while allowing full integration of local processes into the core ERP system. The key areas across the operations are: pricing, market access, supply chain, product supply, accounting, finance, and IT. Order to Cash is a part of our Digital Finance and Architecture team, a new center of excellence for financial data and infrastructure in Global Finance, creating the bridge between financial business needs and Novo Nordisk’s finance systems and digital solutions.
